My sister and I picked up the silk/wool fabric for my mom. It will look beautiful on her olive tinted skin! And even better, the silk wool will look beautiful and breathe very nicely.
My mom owns a blue shift dress that fits her extremely well. I will attempt to create a pattern from this blue dress or (since the dress is a basic shift dress) I may even draft her basic body block from scratch and make a dress from that. (I think each method will take the same amount of time.)
