The way my mother remembers it, I was not a fan of my First Holy Communion dress. The very simple short sleeve lace dress (my mom picked out for me) did not cut it for me back in second grade. Even though I can agree with my mom now that the dress was perfect for my style & personality, I was not happy with her back then! I disliked the dress because; 1) I didn’t choose it myself and 2) it was so simple compared to the dresses my older sisters and friends wore. Look at the photo and see how simple (not poofy) my dress was compared to the other First Communicants!
That is why when I was approached to make custom First Communion dresses, I was excited! I could make a little girl’s special day even more memorable with a unique dress, designed especially for her!
These dresses are a sample of my Spring 2015 creations. Some are one piece and others are separates that combine for the final dress, but can be worn again to complete other outfits!
